The singers gather round the coffin to give the person a traditional send-off. Puste Noce is a disappearing custom in Poland.

Pokój przygotowany do uroczystości Ostatniej Kawy. Podczas Pustych Nocy, rodzina i przyjadziele spotykają się na tz. Ostatnią Kawę, czyli ostatni posiłek z osobą, która będzie pogrzebana.

Keeping Up With the Kashubians (2015) is a short observational film taking place in Kashubia, a rural region in northern Poland.
It is my first short documentary film and formed part of an MA in Visual Anthropology at Goldsmiths College.
Awarder Paul Watson Award for the best MA film of the year.
